How much does a ferrari technician make a year?

im planning on going to a ferrari school and would like to know.|||Most exotic car mechanics can't afford the cars they are asked to fix. That said, if you can get the right experience you'll make about 30 to 45% of the shop rate. If they are charging $150 per hour to fix cars, a good luxury import mechanic will make between $45 and about $70 per hour. Keep in mind though that you will also be buying your own tools and test equipment which can easily cost you $20,000 or more just to get started. You will be working on commission and can't afford to stand around and wait for somebody else to finish using the engine analyzer. You'll want your own. I retired from Jaguar in 1987 with receipts for $144,000 in tools and test equipment above the big stuff the dealer supplied.|||Unless you're REALLY experienced in mechanical engineering, know a lot of past history about Ferraris, and unless you graduated from a college in Europe, there is a very slim chance that you'll get looked at by Ferrari, much less get a job there.

Not too sure about how much they make, but it must be enough so that the people who work there can actually afford the product that they create and have an above average life.

|||If this is something you are very serious about.....you should definitely do some research as to what is the best school for this career. You would most likely be moving to Europe to study this. As you are doing your research look at the technicians who work for the Ferrari team in Formula One racing. Seriously....they are probably the highest paid in this field. I'm sure you've heard of Michael Schumacher. The team gets paid extremely well. Good luck!!!|||Well said. There is a reason these cars are so expensive. They are put together well, and it is not a technition that does it. You could probably make 100 per hour if you specialize in your own repair facility.|||Regular technicians make $35-40,000 per year.

I would say you would get paid $55,000 per year. Just an educated guess.|||millions of Lira's, but you better be able to speak Italian..
