IS the fact that Ferrari went bankrupt and had to be absorbed by FIAT proof that NO ONE actually wants an?

Italian Sports car?

To Conservatwits who answer no, if Ferrari's bankruptcy is not proof that no one really wants a powerful Italian sports car, then why would you assume that Solyndria's financial difficulties are proof that alternative energy technologies won't work?|||it just means they had a bad accountant and manger, nothing more , nothing less...|||First and foremost: Ferrari NEVER filed for bankruptcy EVER. It is (and has always been) a very successful carmaker, to the point that its customers are happy to wait up to 9 months from the order to the delivery of their car.

In the late 1960s, following the death of his son Dino, Enzo Ferrari who founded the company in 1929, sold 51% of the company shares to FIAT with the clause that he would remain at the company's helm until his death. Previously he held negotiations with Ford Motor Co. for the same deal, which fell through in 1963 when Ford refused his condition to keep managing the company.

On the other hand, it was Chrysler who was on the verge of bankruptcy, and was saved thanks to FIAT's intervention. That has nothing to do with the kind of cars they make, but rather with mistakes made by its previous management (Rick Wagoner, etc) who drove the company to the ground.|||Didn't Fiat purchase Chrysler or was going to is that proof no one wanted a jeep or charger. The difference is Solyndria's is a fraud case that should have criminal charges filed. Solyndria's deal does not pass the smell test and appears to go a long way up the chain of command on the government level.|||Usual liberal nonsense

FIAT is a private company that absorbed another company.

Solyndra was a BOGUS overinflated by the Obama administration with 500M taxpayer dollars.

P.S.

Enzo Ferrari was a genius in car engineering, but a too good man to guide a company|||It can work , but not handing out millions to political donors .. They don't want green energy so much as the cash cow . Some energy policy . Give millions to oil companies and millions more to schemes . What ever happened to Pickens and his plan ?|||What?
