What do you think will be the decision of WMSC for Ferrari?

Ferrari German GP issues aren't settled are they? Now they are being investigated by World Motorsport Coucil (WMSC). This could be serious knowing the power of that administration. I am having a feeling they will give Ferrari a mega punishment. Disqualification of the team from the championship perhaps, just like McLaren in 2007? Who knows. I just can't wait for WMSC's decision.|||The trouble is they still can't see past their own arrogance to appreciate how what they've done is wrong.

Montezemolo: "Enough of the hypocrisy. This has always happened."

"If one races for Ferrari, then the interests of the team come before those of the individual,"

He could have added "and the sport".

If what he said were to make sense, rather than tell Massa to back off when their cars were in 1. 2. positions , the message should have gone to the trailing driver, Alonso. Instead, they favoured an individual. The team gets the same points total whichever way round they finish as long as they finish - which is an important and legitimate consideration for the team.

Ferrari doesn't know what hypocrisy means.

As I understand it, Ferrari has been summoned to the WMSC under article 151 c of the INTERNATIONAL SPORTING CODE. That looks serious.

The code does not require a summons to consider a breach of rules unless the penalties to be considered are exclusion, suspension or disqualification.

I expected they would get an exclusion for this race but it would be suspended for the rest of the season but I don't think that can work, now. They can't allow the result that is acknowledged to have been changed deliberately in breach of the rules to stand.

I think they have to disqualify Ferrari from the German Grand Prix.|||I know what I'd LIKE to happen - at the very least nil points for either driver and ditto for Ferrari re the Constructors title race for that GP. Given what other teams have had handed out, for things that were no way as blatant, this is the least that should happen. I'd stop short of a race ban or two because the fans do need to see their fav.teams (although how long anybody can carry on supporting Ferrari when they do this sort of thing, is questionable).

I have a gut feeling that what should happen, won't, however. Whatever the case, $100,000 was laughable (especially when that's dollars, not pounds!!).|||It is a strong choice that the WMSC are going to fine the scuderia ferrari team $100000 US. They are still investigating the matter but have produced enough evidence to show that ferrari alterded the outcome of the race.|||They'll possible go away scot free. But I think they should be docked points or Alonso should be and Ferrari's points with Alonso. The reason why I'm backing Massa up was because he was angry by the fact Ferrari had told him he had to let Alonso through. The look on his face explaied why he was angry. Because Ferrari wanted Alonso to win|||I know what the decision should be; Ferrari should be docked the points for this race at the very least. Whether that will happen, who knows?|||A fine of $100,000 is nothing, if Hispania had done the same thing the team would have stopped dead. For Ferrari, it's like losing a penny.|||Alonso and Massa will probably be Disqualified (DSQ) from the race!
