I've seen 308 series Ferraris, Mondials, and Lambo Espada's under 40K, but plan on spending serious $$$ for maintenance, even if nothing breaks.
A Porsche might be a better bet, or you can get a much newer Corvette for that price.
If you want new, get a new Nissan 370Z - great car, fast, under 40K and with a warranty!
Have fun!|||its not the car that costs the money its the parts, just check out ricambi america.com and youll see what i mean, plus never buy a ferrari from an unreliable website like ebay, you need to see the car in person. BTW a 308 series ferrari ranges in year from 76-80s parts are most expensive to replace.

|||Dude dream on sorry to tell you but they dont make ferrari for the middle class. I have a Lamborghini Gallardo and it cost more money to get a 1998 lambo than get a 2010 gallardo. You might be a able to get a used 1995 lambo for at lowest 120k. But to repair and maintence it it will cost you 400k
