A Ferrari when driven by an experienced driver can cover 400m from a standing start in 14.2 s. If it crosses t?

Physics: A Ferrari when driven by an experienced driver can cover 400m from a standing start in 14.2 s. If it crosses the 400m line at a speed of 203 km/h, what is its average speed?

I am unsure of the formula to use, please help!|||The formula for average speed = total distance traveled / total time to travel that distance

for the Ferrari:

total distance = 400 m

total time to travel that distance = 14.2 s

Avg speed = 400/14.2 = 28.2 m/s ANS|||v = x/t

400/4.2 = answer
