I am going in to college soon and want to pursue a path in car design but i don't know where to start, any advice? Oh, and my dream job is to work for Ferrari one day :)|||More realistic : "Welcome to Taco Bell, may I take your order please ?"
LOL|||Try to find how to email designers at different manufacturers. I met a team of designers once, they had just completed the full size car in clay, was really cool. Practice using clay to make designs of your own, copy already manufactured cars of all kinds, take photos to preserve your selftaught hobby.

Any instructors guest speakers, get their email and ask to discuss further what more it realistically takes. Speakers are brought in to excite students spending a ton of money on their education. Try to get to know the speaker more personally. Keep contact professonal in email. Research your questions and discussing by using online resources, to keep the person continuing to accept your email discussons. Join a discussion board about design.
You can study just as much on your own, as in classroom.
Use searches maybe like, Chevrolet design team, etc etc|||you should apply to ferrari, on the official site of ferrari! You have to finish up to DOCTORATE IN CAR DESIGN!
