Is it possible to turn a crappy car into a Ferrari?

I have a really crappy 1985 Dodge Aires station wagon, and I just received a $20,000 inheritance from my Great Aunt. My current car has sentimental value because I lost my virginity in it. Is there a Ferrari kit for an 85 Aires station wagon?|||ok,so you lost your virginity in a '85 Dodge Aires station wagon.Do you think that if you can somehow transform that ....car in a Ferrari you will be able to find your virginity back? Get over it. i lost mine at a party.did i buy the bed where it happened? No :))) grow up and just think how to invest those money, not how to spend it|||OH POOP! Just have fond memorys and get on with your life. That dodge aires K car should have been melted down a while ago. I reccomend using a small portion of that money for a down payment and invest in the stock market the rest. Buy a very nice high gas milage car like the 2008 Honda Civic. And start new memorys.|||you can try to make the body style a ferrari's, but it'll never be anywhere near as good as a ferrari. i think ferrari sued some company because they used a testarossa body kit.|||No but you can do alot of engine upgrades most of which will probally have to be custom made. But you won't be able to make it as fast as a ferrari.|||You can dream also just go to dealership and buy a Key Ring sometimes that will lift your spirits"Price" alone is shocker, i did same thing with a land Rover key ring and a Shirt that had a Rhino on it..what a rush..it lasts as long as you what it too...|||I owned a 1986 Plymouth K-Car, and a 1987 Plymouth Caravelle, I loved both of them, and I regret getting rid of both of them. As for the "make it into a Ferrari" part, there is a guy a few blocks away from me that has an Aires wagon that he ended up making a whole tube frame, strengthened it completly, and ended up dropping in a Hemi with a 5 speed, and converted it to rear wheel drive, he kept it looking stock, but it has major power and can take anything off the lights. He said its running in the mid 10's.

I'm currently turning a 1989 Ranger into a Mustang. 5L swap(maybe 4.6L swap, havn't completly decided yet), and I havn't decided on what transmission to use as of yet, depends on the engine, and price. The truck is currently in for body work, getting everything painted, and a few custom touches (shaved badges, and roll pan), I have completly redone the interior, it looks stock, but is complely customed, as the only things I havn't touched have been the steering wheel, and shifter knob. Everything else has either been replaced, or altered. My target goal for this build up is $15000 total (including purchase price), and aiming for 450hp. This part of the project is still in the planning stages, so its not decided on how its going to be done. If you have mechanical knowledge you can make it compete like a low end Ferrari (yes, they have existed), it may not be albe to win against a Ferrari, but you should be albe to take anything off the line. Chrysler also has a factory "Midget" block, its basically half of a Hemi, and is good for up to 1500hp (if I remember right), its an all aluminum block and weighs about 400lb built, that may be a route you may want to look into, and don't forget about suspention upgrades, all that would have to be customed, and you would have to upgrade brakes, that would be an absolute must.|||Sorry but 20K wont even buy you a good kit car! You might just want to buy a nice little rod and just let the old wagon sit.|||YEA,,,, ITS CALLED

CHIP FOOSE !!!!

He will built it for you for about $19.500 ,,,V12 not included

OOh send pics to Xzibit so he can PIMP YO RIDE

the out of pocket cost will be $1.000 per day trying to hire someone to guard it day and nite.

but for real it would be better to just buy a nice cheap sports car and or just restore the wagon to mint condition and garage it .

more $$$ in the pocket that way unless you search the classic car trader for a Ferrari 308 Magnum Pi special.

thoes only go for a few $1000s.

But any thing can be done to a car with the right amount of $$|||Yes, sompletely strip it down and start from scratch rebuilding it! 20,000 won't be enough, though!|||I don't think there is. But no offence but if you really hate that crappy car, then sell it to a junk shop. It will add money to your 20,000 dollars. If you don't want to sell it, try giving it a makeover. Change your car's look, battery and try to make it good. I'm quite sure it wont reach 20,000 dollars. Hope I helped you.
