What specific cars are faster than a ferrari in general?

Well this may sound kinda dumb but my girlfriend has a ferrari and i am going to buy a car in a couple of weeks and i want to know what car should i buy because me and my girlfriend are going to race each other and i really dont want to get burned by my own girlfriend. So please help me out on this one.|||Lol, maybe a porsche, maybe a 911, it depends on what kind of ferrari she has. If it's an older model of Ferrari, you'll have considerably more (and cheaper) choices of newer cars available to you that should be able to beat it in a race. If it's a newer model of Ferrari, your choices are going to be significantly more limited and more expensive.|||Some Ferraris (308, 400i) are actually quite slow. Some such as the 599GTO are as fast as anything out there. Now a $5000 ZX-12R motorcycle will beat any Ferrari in a drag race, and a BMW S1000R can be had new for less than 20k and will beat any Ferrari in almost any race.
